It just looks so good. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be perfectly fine with a non-Alpina E28 M5, but given the choice, this is the one I’d try and go for.

I’m really a fan of the Alpina body modifications. They’re subtle, but they add so much to the look of the car.

Actually, the V12 is reasonably reliable. It’s everything else you should worry about.

A good friend of mine had one of these and it was the business, but he spent more on maintenance in the first year then it would have cost him to lease a new one...
